Tyler Prevost founded Cobra Construction in 2009 as a general contracting company. In 2015, Prevost expanded by opening Cobra Structures, a second division to effectively serve customers with fabric building needs in a variety of industries. In 2019, Prevost formed Bison Modular Homes (formerly Bison Container Homes), prefabricating modular homes as a modern, cost-saving, alternative product solution for housing in northern Canadian communities. Prevost recently launched a mechanical division, Cobra Mechanical, in order to provide full commercial and industrial turnkey solutions.
Together, Cobra Enterprises is a national fabric building and modular home provider, serving clients with building solutions anywhere from a 24’ x 30’ structure, to a 767 airplane hangar, to a 13-container gym and daycare.
Tyler's career began in electrical before coming back to construction and carpentry work. He first founded Cobra Construction doing commercial and residential constructions, beforeteaming up with Shane and forming Cobra Structures. Tyler considers himself as jack of all trades which he finds very helpful in the construction industry. Along with his construction experience Tyler had many ideas and interests in the construction industry. Growing his own organization with Shane ended up being the best way for Tyler to utilize them.
Construction has been a big part of Shane's life since learning from his grandpa. When Shane's brother Tyler asked him to team up with him, Shane used what he learned in residential and commercial construction and applied it to pre-engineered fabric building construction. Working through the design phase of a project with a customer and coming up with a solid solution is what satisfies Shane. Customer satisfaction is the ultimate compliment, and Shane always try to go above and beyond.
